Coped gables with moulded kneelers. To left, lower vestry with boarded door, in possibly re-set block surround, and coped gable with corniced end stack. West end has 2 single- light windows with basket arches, that to right re-set in projecting vestry. Bellcote with cornice carried up over round-arched opening; North wall has 3 C19 windows each of 2 cinquefoil-headed lights. East end has re-set medieval window of 3 stepped lancets under chamfered pointed arch, and C19 foliate gable cross. Interior. C18 font with moulded circular bowl and shaft. Rubble with some dressings; stone slate roof. Original rectangular building has later east outshut, south-west wing and lower wheelhouse at south end. South elevation: end of original block shows boarded stable door under timber lintel and l6-pane Yorkshire sash above and to left, in gable. To left, at lower level, end of outshut has fixed 12-pane casement. Set back to right, low wing has small window with timber lintel. Rear elevation: 2 small windows in end of original block above wheelhouse, which has doorway with tooled lintel, small window; and round-arched tail goit on right return. INTERIOR; has exceptionally complete set of milling machinery mostly early- and mid-C19. Large timber water wheel with cast-iron bracing and bolts, cast-iron pit wheel and shaft. Two millstones in wooden housing with cast-iron bracing. Unusual pearl barley machine with cast-iron wheels and gearing. Rare oat roasting kiln, again with cast-iron shafts and gearing. North range (formerly shelter sheds/granary) 2 storeys, 4 bays. 2 pairs of segmental arches. C20 casement in old opening with slightly-projecting sill above each. Right return shows central part of gable raised with cornice and pediment flanked by ball finials; stone brackets for flagpole below. West range (barn) 2 storeys, 5 bays, irregular. Stable doors to bay 5 (ground floor) and bays 2 and 4 (lst floor), C20 garage doors to bay 1; small ground-floor windows, slit vents. Lower bay to left has boarded door and pent roof. Rear elevation shows small window replacing driveshaft from former gingang; north end shows slit vents above lower building with part-slatted window.
